In response to the unique requirements of our diverse clientele, S2S-OMS® was designed such that it is vertically and horizontally scalable to meet the custom specifications of each operational process in a given organization.

Vertical Scalability

The flexible product design of S2S-OMS® allows its specific business logic functions to be easily extendable across various vertical markets and extend the system's functionality such that it can easily meet its new business logic demands. For instance, although an oil pipe producer and a chair assembler are both manufacturers, they have entirely different work-in-process systems each requiring a specific RFID integration scheme.

Horizontal Scalability

Since most organizations operate within existing software and hardware infrastructures, one of the crucial features of the S2S-OMS® RFID middleware is its ability to expand to edge-level hardware devices (RFID readers, printers, etc.) and enterprise-level software systems (accountings applications, manufacturing resource planners, etc.). Peripheral devices such as barcode printers, conveyor belts, and other hardware accessories that already play an important role in current operations, will either be upgraded or phased out with new RFID hardware, or alternatively, they will be strategically utilized in the newly configured RFID environment.
